Muddled-

Installation based on memory and on the tradition of coffee reading.

I made a "coffee table", sprinkled it with a layer of dried black coffee collected over a long period of time from the bottom of my own coffee cups.

A stretched canvas over a hole cut in the table top allows a strong spotlight to shine through and generate heat that causes the coffee to emit a strong aroma of roasting.
